IN WHOSE HANDS DOES THE FUTURE OF SOUTH AFRICANS LIES?

SourceGgoogle/ image
The new party in the block:EFF

The new baby on the block

i was asking my friend that how many political parties does she know, she told me that she know African National Congress (ANC) which is the ruling party, Democratic Alliance (DA), Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), Congress Of the People (COPE) and the new baby in the block Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).

This has left me thinking that out of the 15 parties, she only knows five. I wonder why the other parties are not known. The reason is because they do not make use of the public Relations strategies in their parties. Let’s look on the freedom Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is the yesterday party but it is already known and everyone is talking about it.

The EFF has managed to market them well because they took any chance they see in front of them and use it, they don’t only rely on the word of mouth but they go out and do campaigns. On the 16 of August the leader of EFF was at Marikaan for the anniversary of the deaths of the mineworkers wearing his EFF beret to show people which party does he belong to. The crown clapped, whistled and raised hands when he arrived to show how happy they are to see him and knowing that there is a party that still care. http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Malema-arrives-in-Marikana-20130816

The party is already having thousands of followers and the youth is talking about it, you can’t even believe that it was born last month but already they have win many people because they know how to market themselves. Is the EFF the future of SA?

TIPS OF MAKING YOUR PARTY KNOWN

·         Attend community event that base on the needs of people.

  2. I personally think that is not the future of S.A, because they have already started having problems within their movement. One of their leader which is Kenny Kunene have already resign from the leadership. This shows that is a not the future party to our county.

    1. kenny resigned because of personal reasons, its got nothing to do with the party. the youth is the future of this country and almost every youth is talking about the EFF, chances are vry high that the EFF will rule this country one day.

  3. E.F.F is the future of this country, they have a great leader in Malema cause he speaks his mind, he calls a spade a spade and he's not scared of anyone

  4. i think the recent upspring of political parties is a positive outlook because for years in SA we have had a lack of variety in terms of political representation, the parties are narrow and somewhat similar in their manifestations lacking in difference in governing styles, and riddled in corruption as media has over the years proved to us the ordinary citizens, so i am happy when i see so many of them poping up

    1. i agree with you when you say other political parties dont make it because they are out for money but EFF seems like they got best interest of heart for the country.

But what i really know is that eff is certainly not the future because like everything associated with julious malema turns out ugly but they marketing strategy is really good tp an extent that some other parties must take notes.

  13. EFF carried out their marketign campaigns quite well. Its really doing a really good job, it engaged well known personalities like Fana Mokoena and the sushi king. That aswell makes people to actually follow the party to other parties

  14. Couldn't agree with you more Nelly many political parties do not use social media and other media platforms or PR strategies to strengthen or to gain more followers. even Agang has more followers compared to parties such as the UDM who have been around for more than 10yrs.

  16. WHICH EVER YOUTH THAT IS BEHIND EFF MUST START OPENING THEIR EYES AND LOOK AT THE REALITY PART OF THE FORMATION BEHIND THIS PARTY, I SERIOUSLY DO NOT THINK THAT ANYONE IN THE WORLD WOULD TAKE SOUTH AFRICA SERIOUS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE TWO CLOWNS JULIUS MALEMA AND KENNY KUNENE, BY THE WAY WHO ARE THEY ACTUALLY TRYING TO FREE ECONOMICALLY BECAUSE IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THEY WILL FREE THEMSELVES AND LIVE A LAXURIOUS LIVE OUT OF YOUNG PEOPLE'S VOTES.

    1. you mean that they only care about money and firm. they have show what the leaders should do in times of needs. the EFF was there at marikaan to give them support which the ruling party fail to do.

  17. Well we all know that dominant people are the one who makes it to the top quicker so as for EFF well it's about that and of course the money too. So I don't trust the party.

  18. The EFF is a good party but I sometimes worry about their policies and how they will affect our lives if they were to be given an platform to implement them into our socio- economic system.

  19. People should learn to come out of their comfort zones and realise that there is a whole wide world out there and there are people willing and able to offer better and do better than what we are already used to. Take that step of faith.

  20. Thank you for those tips, I think they can help a lot of people. I think many political parties dont make use of the social media to make themselves known to the public. Many of them fail because people dont kown anything about them.

  21. I personally think that it is essential for all parties to market themselves to make us aware that they exist. Its true that most of us dont even know half of the parties who exist in our country. Better Marketing strategies will definately improve this.

  22. informative and helpful indeed..parties should make themselves known to us in order to get essential support
